It is a pleasure to present the Amateur Radio Service to Scouting Award to Jonathan Abbey – KA6AUQ from Cub Scouts Pack 43 in Yuba City.

Abbey was nominated by his scouting colleagues for the tireless work he does in organizing amateur radio activities for all of the area scouts. From Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) events to emergency preparedness to just recreational fun, Abbey works with many of local amateur radio operators to provide the guidance and expertise to educate and encourage the scouts to explore amateur radio.
